Savaré takes an important step forward on its sustainability journey: the new photovoltaic systems installed at our production plant in Cerro Maggiore and at our Milan headquarters are now fully operational.
Thanks to the 1 MW solar park in Cerro Maggiore, covering an area of approximately 1,500 square meters, and the rooftop system at our Milan office, we are now able to cover 100% of our daytime electricity needs with self-generated renewable energy.
A tangible result that translates into an overall reduction of approximately 450 tons of CO₂ emissions every year — the equivalent of what around 15,000 trees absorb annually.
This project, strongly supported across the company, marks a significant milestone in our energy transition strategy and reinforces our commitment to a more sustainable and responsible production model. A key step in our ongoing contribution to combating climate change, for the benefit of future generations.
